Black Women Homesteaders - GEORGIA MEET UP APRIL 2025

This is a casual event to gather and talk homesteading, gardening, etc. If you’re new – come on! If you’re very experienced – we cherish your wisdom. The goal is simply to get US together to educate, enjoy and encourage each other as a community.

This is a fully outdoor event. A seed swap table will be available if you want to participate.

DETAILS:

• DONATION: This event is free however there’s a suggested donation of $15. This is to cover rental costs for bathrooms, tables + chairs, recycling/trash and other maintenance Currently, 270+ people responded to this event and my home can’t support that many people. • WAIVER: Due to the number of people interested, I have a liability waiver to sign. Please see Survey for more details.

• SURVEY: The event is really causal but with the number of people who could potentially come, I wanted to try and organize it a bit according to your interests and to help make this a good event for all. Here is the link (or https://forms.gle/MK5dzc57KhkMnZ9z8).

• NO alcohol, drugs or firearms of any kind on the premises. If you have them, I’ll have to ask you to leave.

• RAIN DELAY?: In the case of rain, we’ll move to Sunday, April 6. If necessary, a  decision will be made by 6 pm Friday, April 4.
